A stunning brass leaf ceiling light had suffered damage and was missing quite a number of its distressed gold leaf leaves.

Replacement leaves were cut from brass sheet, filed and folded. 

Stems were soldered to the leaves and then the whole etch primed.

 Various paint techniques were applied followed by gold leaf and the distressed to match the existing leaves.  

The replacement leaves were soldered to the frame.

In all its glory. You would never know.
